Who am I?

I am “Bob” Ferrell, a funeral director for 40 years in the Anchorage & Mat-Su Valley in Alaska (The Last Frontier).  I am also known as “Your Favorite Undertaker” and also as “The Short Little Fat Man” by many family’s, friends and acquaintances.  I am the oldest practicing Funeral Director in the Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley.

I work for The Cremation Society of Alaska and Alaska Cook Inlet Funeral Services which is family owned by Dominic and Amanda Hasara and Devone Hasara.  We serve all faith’s and cultures here in Alaska.

I have served families in all parts of Alaska including many of the different villages outside of the hubs of Barrow, Bethel, Nome, Dillingham, Valdez, Kodiak, Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan.  I also have done World Wide shipments into many countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, USSR, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and The Philippines.

I am currently the Vice President of the Alaska Funeral Directors and Death Care Professionals, District 8 of the Washington State Funeral Directors Association.
